In the week that we mourn two years since Andre Matos' "Maestro do Rock ," which will tell the musician's story, was released

Featuring never-before-seen footage from Andre Matos' personal archive and interviews with friends, family, and world-renowned rock musicians, the documentary promises to tell the public the story and interesting facts about the singer that he kept offstage.

Andre Matos – Maestro do Rock will be officially released on September 14th, the date he would have turned 50 years old. The project began in 2018, with Andre's own authorization, and after his death, his family provided unreleased materials and hundreds of other personal files so that the film could be completed.

Kai Hansen, Blaze Bayley, Rafael Bittencourt, Luis Mariutti, Andre Bastos, Kiko Loureiro, Felipe Machado, Yves Passarell, Eloy Casagrande, Andreas Kisser, João Gordo, Gastão Moreira, Paulo Baron and other names will be part of the documentary with testimonials about the singer.

The documentary was directed by Anderson Bellini and produced by Thiago Rahal Mauro . Distribution details are still unknown. More information is expected soon. Watch the trailer below.
